School-Based ABA Therapy

At Achievers ABA Therapy, our school-based ABA therapy helps children with autism succeed where learning happens every day. We provide 1:1 support right in the classroom, so your child can build communication, behavior, and social skills in the setting where they need them most.

Our Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) work under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). They partner with teachers and school staff to use consistent strategies throughout the school day. Together, we help your child grow more confident, independent, and ready to learn alongside their peers.

Achievers ABA Therapy provides school-based ABA therapy to families in the communities around our locations in Indiana and Colorado Springs. Find the location nearest you, or call us at (317) 721-8884 to see if we serve your child’s school.

What Is School-Based ABA Therapy?

School-based ABA therapy brings Applied Behavior Analysis into your child’s school environment. Instead of learning skills only at home or in a clinic, your child receives support during the real school day, with real classmates, routines, and expectations.

An RBT works directly with your child in the classroom and other school settings, such as the lunchroom, hallways, and recess. A BCBA designs and oversees your child’s individualized treatment plan. Sessions may focus on following classroom directions, staying on task, communicating needs, managing frustration, transitioning between activities, and interacting with peers. Every goal is based on your child’s assessment and built with input from your family.

What Are the Benefits of ABA Therapy in Schools?

School-based ABA therapy lets your child practice new skills in the exact setting where they need them most. When a child learns a skill in one place, it doesn’t always carry over to another. Learning in the classroom helps skills like raising a hand, waiting a turn, joining group work, and asking for help become lasting habits.

ABA therapy at school also strengthens collaboration between your family, teachers, and our clinical team. When everyone uses the same strategies, your child gets consistent support throughout the day, which can lead to steadier progress. For many families, school-based services also mean fewer disruptions to the school day and more opportunities for their child to participate fully alongside peers.
